Compare platform charges, with cash interest included.

Client money sitting in cash earns interest. How much of it reaches the client, and how much the platform keeps, is set by the platform and rarely appears in a charges comparison. This tool puts it back in, so you can see what a platform costs once both halves are counted.

How it works

How it works

1. Pick a platform
Choose from the fifteen platforms we hold published data for, or enter your own charge if your firm has negotiated one. Tiered deals are supported.

2. Set the client
Portfolio size, how much sits in cash, growth and time horizon. Sensible defaults are already in, so you can just look.

3. See the real number
The tool adds the interest the platform keeps to the charge it publishes, and gives you one figure: the total effective charge. Then it shows what that difference comes to over time, in pounds, for a single client.

Where the numbers come from

Platform charges are taken from each platform's own published rate card, not from comparison sites, and were last checked on 10 September 2026. Cash interest rates are those disclosed as at 5 August 2026.

The basis is the platform or custody charge, including any platform-level minimum that applies to every client. It excludes wrapper, dealing and drawdown charges, which vary by product and by client.

Platforms that confirm they keep a share of interest but do not publish how much are shown as "not disclosed". They are left out of the industry average rather than counted as keeping nothing.

Illustrative only, and not a forecast of what any individual client will receive.
